Hello!

I am so excited to be embarking on this journey of helping my community follow the path of health and wellness. Thanks for stopping by.

My Story

I have been a Registered Nurse since 2017. I started my nursing journey at the hospital where I worked on an Intermediate Care Floor. I saw everything and I learned a lot. I knew working bedside was not where I was meant to be and accepted a job as a Hospice RN Case Manager a few years later. It was here where I really got to use my skills as an empath and help my patients and their loved ones during one of the hardest, yet most special times in life (in my honest opinion). I feel like the dying process is just as special as the moment someone is born into this world and should be a sacred time spent with your loved ones. I was a Hospice Nurse for a few years until I got a call from one of my best friends I met in Nursing School, saying she wanted me to come work with her PRN. She was managing an IV room where she treated patients of all kinds. Patients dealing with chronic illness, patients who were dealing with acute illness, and patients nearing the end of life. This was about one year into the pandemic and I was wanting a change. I decided to take her up on this job working here and there, and quit working full time. I quickly fell in love with what was happening at this clinic and where it was headed, and after a few months of working PRN, I asked to go full time.

Fast forward to today, I work for an amazing Functional Medicine Doctor and PA. I'm surrounded by phenomenal nurses and practitioners with the same goal in mind, to help people find their path back to a life full of health and wellness. We have a thriving wellness practice that includes supplements, IV Therapy, hormone replacement and more. One of the only things missing from all of this was Nutritional Counseling.

This is where I come in now. I was certified in September 2024 as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I have always loved cooking and all things about food. I love creating my own recipes and tweaking recipes I find online to my liking for my friends and family. I especially love making something indulgent as healthy as possible, such as cookies and desserts, without sacrificing taste and nutrient density.

As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I strive to combine Five Foundations in order to bring you back into balance. The Five Foundations include: Nutrient Dense Diet, Digestion, Blood Sugar Regulation, Sleep, and Stress. Nutritional Therapy Practitioners believe that if these FIVE foundations are in balance, optimal health is achieved; symptoms begin to disappear and many people with chronic illness or imbalance are able to live a full life again with energy and vigor.

If this sounds like something you think would be a great fit for you, I can't wait to chat!

I live in Oklahoma City in a cute 1950s house with my husband of 8 years, my two children, and our puppy, Axel. I love cooking, gardening, reading, thrifting, and traveling when I can. My favorite quirky thing about my life that revolves around lifestyle and cooking is that my range and oven are original to my house and have not given up in over 70 years! I have made the most delicious meals and baked goods in my kitchen and it is my favorite place to be.
