Meet Mary
Registered Nurse & Nutritional Therapist
As a Registered Nurse with a Certification in Nutritional Therapy, I am dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey to optimal health and wellness. My goal is to provide personalized guidance in nutrition and lifestyle that aims to support you in achieving your health goals.
Using the knowledge I have gained over the years I have worked in Functional Medicine along with my certification in Nutritional Therapy, I intend to provide you with the tools you need to obtain your vision of health. Whether that is losing weight, increasing daily energy, or finding a way to better manage chronic illness, it is my plan to dismantle bad habits and transform your beliefs around food, nutrition, and lifestyle.
Foundations of Health
It is a Nutritional Therapist's belief that true health and balance can be achieved by focusing on the Five Foundations of Health: Nutrient Dense Diet, Digestion, Blood Sugar Regulation, Sleep, and Stress.

Nutrient Dense Diet
Learn how to prioritize unprocessed, whole foods such as lean meats, vegetables, and whole grains. Support your immune function and prevent or reduce symptoms of chronic illness and disease.

Digestion
Improved digestion not only supports your body's overall well being, but improves nutrient absorption, supports a healthy gut microbiome, and improves an array of gastrointestinal dysfunctions.

Blood Sugar Regulation
Reduce fatigue, irritability, and cravings by learning how to regulate blood sugar. Manage weight, lower inflammation, support brain function, and reduce your risk for developing chronic disease.

Stress
Lowering stress offers an array of health benefits. Decreased stress reduces the risk of chronic disease and improves immune function and mental clarity. Emotional well-being and physical health is improved.

Sleep
Quality sleep helps the body repair and regenerate, supporting physical and mental recovery. Sleep promotes memory consolidation, reduces brain fog, and reduces stress and anxiety.

Functional Wellness
Functional Wellness focuses on all aspects of well-being, including physical, mental, and emotional health. Together, let's address the root cause of dysfunction within the body, using nutrition and lifestyle changes.
